Honor our brave men and women who served our country with a lasting tribute.
Join the City of Sandy Springs in dedicating new areas in Veterans Park to recognize the sacrifice and valor of those who have served. Together, let’s show our heartfelt gratitude.
Tribute Pavers and Benches
Customize a paver of various sizes, each engraved to commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of our service members. These pavers will create a beautiful, enduring pathway through the park, serving as a powerful reminder of their dedication.
Dedicate a park bench, designed for visitors to pause, reflect, and find peace amidst the park’s water features, stunning sculptures, and solemn memorials. Your contribution will help create a meaningful space where all can pay their respects and find inspiration.
Iconic Sculptures
Support the creation and installation of two captivating and collaborative public art sculptures commissioned by the City of Sandy Springs. When installed, the sculptures will serve as powerful symbols and inspire future generations.
Be the Light sculpted by Curtis Pittman and Three Generations sculpted by Kevin Chambers, will serve as a powerful symbol of gratitude to Veterans living and working in Sandy Springs and be a source of inspiration for generations to come.
Sculpting a Legacy for Future Generations
The City of Sandy Springs partnered with Art Sandy Springs (ArtSS) to enhance Veterans Park through artistic sculpture. A selection committee, including ArtSS members and city veterans, shortlisted four artists. After careful review, the committee chose Curtis Pittman and bronze artist Kevin Chambers for the project. Take a look behind the bronze to see how the artists are bringing their vision to life.
